Browsing more safely

• The Quick exit button (bottom right of every page), or pressing Escape three times, immediately replaces this site with a weather page.
• Quick exit can’t erase your browser history. If someone may check your device, use a private/incognito window, or a device they can’t access. More on technology safety from the Safety Net Project.
• This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Videos on our Press page load from YouTube only if you press play.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send us through our forms: your name (initials are fine), contact details, and your answers. We do not collect anything else about you.

Why we collect it

• To read and understand your experience or expertise, and to inform our research and advocacy.
• To contact you—for example, to follow up or to ask whether you’d like to take part in filming.
• To send you news, only if you signed up for it.

Who sees it

Only members of the A4 Safety Alliance team who need it for the purposes above. We do not sell or rent your information, and we will never publish your name or story without asking you first.

Where it’s stored

Form submissions pass through our website host, Cloudflare, Inc., and are stored in A4 Safety Alliance’s Google account (Google LLC) in the United States, with a copy emailed to A4 Safety Alliance staff.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete what you sent us, or to stop contacting you. Email Sherri@a4safetyalliance.org or use our contact form. You can unsubscribe from news using the link in any email.

If you’re in danger

We are an advocacy organization, not a crisis service, and our inbox is not monitored around the clock. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. The National Domestic Violence Hotline is available 24/7 at 1-800-799-7233 or by texting START to 88788.
